Who?

 

The Ft. Stewart/Hunter A.A.F Georgia Fire Department is comprised of four stations.

Where?

 

Station 1 is located on Ft. Stewart main post which borders the City of Hinesville, Georgia. Fire station 3 is located at Wright Army Airfield which protects Midcoast Regional Airport. Our response area includes Liberty & Bryan Counties. Fire station's 2 & 4 are located at Hunter Army Airfield located in Savannah, Georgia.  

 

What?

 

Station 1 operates three E-One engines, a brush unit, heavy rescue, rescue boat, Hazmat trailer and a 110 foot E-One ladder.  Fire station 3 operates one E-One engine, rescue and a E-One Titan 4x4 ARFF vehicle.

The Station

 

Fire station 1 is located on main post. The station has six single bays where all station 1 apparatus is stored. Fire station 3 at Wright Army Airfield has three single bays including individual rooms for all four personnel.
